Well, if the person you are checking on is called 'Alex Lee', you can probably expect more than 1 result. This is because 'Alex Lee' is quite a common name.

If there are 20 results for 'Alex Lee', you will have to sort through 20 reports in order to get the correct one.

If you can provide more information about a person, you will not have to go through this sorting process.

However, if you only have the full name of the person you are investigating, it is alright too. You just have to spend a little bit more time, unless that person has a very unique name.

Usually the statute of limitations for the malpractice varies from 6 months to 5 years, depending on the state where the incident took place. For example, in the state of Virginia, a case of medical malpractice has to be filed within 2 years from the date when the patient was injured, while in Washington D.C., the statute of limitation is 3 years. One this period is over, the patient or his family does not have the right to proceed with a lawsuit against the medical practitioner. However, there are exceptions to this rule. Sometimes, the injury is discovered later, so the date of statute of limitations will start from the date when the discovery was made. Also, if the patient was a minor, then the statute of limitations can be extended until the patient reaches the age of a legal adult.

Most business people get quite upset because every time they turn around there is another rule or regulation or some inspector that waltzes into their business to look for some silly violation. And you know they often find one, because no business owner can possibly know all the rules, even the lawyers that specialize have to look them up on a CD Rom (and you thought they used all those fancy law books behind them?).

Many decry the way the Russian Mob takes down businesses or shakes down business owners. And it is rather alarming and one of the main reasons that there are so many problems in the business sector there. Still, one could ask; what's the difference if a business owner is harassed by a government regulator in the USA and fined for really no reason, or if the Russian Mafia comes calling? The reality is that there is no difference, only that one is perceived to be legal and the other one is not.

Not long ago, a Car Wash Owner complained that an environmental compliance inspector fined him for having "liquid paper" in a container that was over so many ounces without an MSDS Sheet in his files for that container. He bought the value size at Office Depot to save money, but then found out (the hard way), that it was a violation to have it on the premise without an MSDS Sheet? For Pete's Sake he thought.

Still, the reason was because the inspector couldn't find anything else wrong with his car wash operations, and considering the number of chemicals on the property at a car wash, that's quite excellent, you'd think? But, no the environmental inspector needed to find something to violate him for. This is nothing more than a shake down, and in my professional opinion is anti-business and completely pathetic indeed.
